America is strengthening partnership with India, Biden said – We stand against China…

US President Joe Biden said that his country is standing up against China for its unfair economic practices, for peace and security in the Taiwan Strait and is further strengthening its partnership with allies like India.

In his last ‘State of the Union’ address before the presidential election in November, Biden said that America wants competition with China, not confrontation.

He told Americans on Thursday that the country is in a strong position to win the competition against Beijing in the 21st century.

He said, “We are standing up against China’s unfair economic actions and for peace and security in the Taiwan Strait, and at the same time strengthening our partnerships with allies and Pacific countries like India, Australia, Japan and South Korea.” “

Biden said, “For years, I have heard from my Republican friends and many others that China is moving forward and America is moving backward, but it is the opposite. America is moving forward.” In his third ‘State of the Union’ address to Congress, he said America’s economy is the best in the world.

This address was watched by millions of Americans on Thursday night. Biden said, “Our gross domestic product (GDP) has increased since I came to power. Our trade deficit with China is at its lowest level in the last decade.

I have ensured that the most advanced American technologies cannot be used in China’s weapons. To be honest, despite tough talks on China, such a thought never occurred to my predecessor.” The US President said, “We are in a strong position to win the 21st century competition against China or any other country.”

A day before Biden’s statement, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had made several allegations against America. Speaking on the sidelines of the annual meeting of China’s parliament, Wang accused the US of trying to control China through sanctions and insisted Washington has a “wrong impression” of Beijing.

The US has imposed sanctions against China on many issues ranging from human rights abuses to its growing military ties with Russia.
