Why will PM Narendra Modi’s success be bigger than Nehru if he returns in 2024, these three reasons…

The dates for Lok Sabha elections 2024 have been announced.

Who will be the new government now, it will be known on June 4. Most of the surveys have predicted the return of the NDA government led by PM Narendra Modi.

In the last 10 years, the Modi government had tried to strengthen the development structure of the country. Now PM Modi says that in the third term he will work to develop the country by 2024.

Such possibilities are also being created due to the report card of the work done by his government, the broad unity built with 36 allies and the failure of the opposition to corner him.

This election will not only form the next government for the country, but if PM Narendra Modi returns to power again, he will be the Prime Minister who has been in power for the longest time in the country. Before him, only Jawaharlal Nehru had been PM for three consecutive terms.

But in many ways his success will be greater than that of Jawaharlal Nehru. There are three reasons for this – Jawaharlal Nehru was a leader from an elite background. His father Motilal Nehru was one of the most renowned lawyers of his time in the country and was also the President of Congress.

He also had the trust of Mahatma Gandhi. The third and most important thing is that after independence, Congress was ruling the country for almost two decades.

The reason for this was that people considered him synonymous with the freedom movement. There was no such legacy with Narendra Modi. He also did not have any existing godfather who supported him to become PM, like Mahatma Gandhi did for Nehru.

Born in a poor family, PM Narendra Modi had struggled for decades. His party’s ideology could not find a place in mainstream politics for a long time.

In such a situation, the way PM Modi has formed governments with absolute majority twice in a row since 2014, puts him in a different league. His chances in the third term also seem strong.

It is like a golden period for BJP also. This time, PM Modi is continuously giving the slogan of NDA reaching beyond 400.

Seeing the way he is trying to bring together parties like JDU, BJD, Akali Dal, it is being predicted more strongly that NDA will get 400 seats.
