In this series, the price of LPG cylinder for the month of April will be decided. In view of the Lok Sabha elections, it is believed that there may be a cut in the price of cylinders.

Got relief of Rs 100

Let us tell you that on Women’s Day i.e. March 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced a discount of Rs 100 in the prices of LPG cylinders.

PM Modi had said- This will not only make the life of women power easier but will also reduce the financial burden of crores of families. This step will also be helpful in environmental protection, which will also improve the health of the entire family.

Let us tell you that after this cut, now the price of LPG cylinder in the country’s capital Delhi is Rs 803. At the same time, beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme get an additional subsidy of Rs 300 on this price. In such a situation, LPG cylinder is available to the beneficiaries for Rs 503.

Second cut in six months

In the month of March, LPG cylinder prices were cut for the second time in the last six months. On the occasion of Rakshabandhan in August 2023, the price of LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 200 per cylinder.

Similarly, in October 2023, the subsidy for Ujjwala beneficiaries was also increased from Rs 200 to Rs 300. Let us tell you that at that time assembly elections were going to be held in 5 states including Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
