China again attacks Arunachal Pradesh, releases Chinese names of 30 places…

China has once again resorted to violence over India’s north-eastern state Arunachal Pradesh.

Amid recent attempts to stake its claim on Arunachal Pradesh, Dragon has released a list of 30 new names of various places in the Indian state.

Although more details of these names are not yet available, these names are written in Chinese characters. These names are given to mountains, rivers and places.

PM Narendra Modi recently visited Arunachal Pradesh and inaugurated the Army Tunnel. Since then, China has been stunned.

He is continuously making statements regarding Arunachal Pradesh. However, giving a befitting reply, the Indian Foreign Ministry has said that Arunachal Pradesh is and will remain an integral part of India.

Even before this, India has been rejecting China’s attempt to change the names of places in Arunachal Pradesh. India says the state is an integral part of the country and keeping the “fictitious” name will not change this reality.

China’s mouthpiece ‘Global Times’ reported on Sunday that the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs released the fourth list of standardized geographical names in ‘Jangnan’.

China calls Arunachal Pradesh ‘Jangnan’ and claims the state as part of South Tibet. An additional 30 names for the region were posted on the ministry’s official website.

Although not much information about these names has been revealed, it has been found that these names are 11 residential areas, 12 mountains, four rivers, one lake, one pass and one vacant land of Arunachal Pradesh.
