Famous Congress spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh has resigned from the party.
Earlier on Wednesday itself, boxer Vijendra Singh had left Congress and joined BJP. He says that Congress is moving ahead in the elections without any direction.
In such a situation, there is no point in staying with him. Gaurav Vallabh has resigned while addressing party president Mallikarjun Kharge, which he has also tweeted.
Gaurav Vallabh said, ‘I am not able to feel comfortable with the directionless manner in which the Congress Party is moving forward today.
I can neither raise anti-Sanatan slogans nor abuse the wealth creators of the country in the morning and evening. Therefore, I am resigning from all posts and primary membership of the Congress Party.
Gaurav Vallabh said in his detailed resignation letter that he is emotional and heartbroken. I want to say, write and tell you a lot.
But my values forbid me from saying anything that might hurt others. Still, today I am presenting my views before you.
This is because hiding the truth is also a crime. I can’t even commit a crime. Gaurav Vallabh further writes, ‘I am a professor of finance.
When the party made me the national spokesperson, I expressed my views strongly. But for the last few days, I have been feeling uncomfortable with the party’s stand.
When I joined Congress, I thought it was the oldest party in the country. Here the ideas of young, intellectual people are valued.
‘There is no respect for the ideas of youth here’
In the last few years, I have realized that the current form of the party is not able to accommodate the youth with new ideas. The party’s connect with the ground level has been completely broken. Which is not able to understand the aspirations of the new India at all. Due to this, the party is neither able to come to power nor is playing the role of opposition strongly. This discourages a worker like me. ,
Keeping distance from Ram temple also cited as reason for resignation
Gaurav Vallabh also cited Congress’s distance from Ramlala’s life consecration in Ayodhya as a reason. He said that he is upset with the stand of the Congress party in the matter of consecrating the life of Lord Shri Ram.
I am a Hindu by birth and a teacher by profession. This stand of the party made me uncomfortable. Many people associated with the party and alliance speak against Sanatan and the party remains silent on it. In a way, silence is like giving consent.
Such an image has been created that Congress supports only one religion.
Not only this, he said that the party is moving in the wrong direction. He said that on one hand we talk about caste based census and on the other hand we are seen opposing the entire Hindu society. This working style creates an image among the public of the party being a supporter of a particular religion.
