Pakistan gives highest honor to Indian religious leader, Morarji Desai and Dilip Kumar have received the award…

Pakistan has awarded its highest civilian honor Nishan-e-Pakistan to an Indian.

On Tuesday, this honor was given to religious leader of Dawoodi Bohra community, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin. He is the fourth Indian to be given this honor by Pakistan.

This honor is given to those who have led at the global level and have shown extraordinary talent. This honor is also given for humanitarian work.

Pakistan also gave this honor to former PM Morarji Desai in 1990, actor Dilip Kumar in 1998 and Kashmir separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani in 2020.

It was fine to honor Morarji Desai and Dilip Kumar, but in 2020, India had also raised questions on honoring Geelani.

Geelani had promoted separatism in Kashmir and also protected many terrorists. In such a situation, questions were raised on giving him respect.

Pakistan has also given this honor to Malaysia’s PM Mahathir Mohammad and Qatar’s Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The honor ceremony was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan of Pakistan on Tuesday. In this, President Arif Alvi honored Syedna. During this, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori and Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani were also present.

Why did India’s Bohra religious leader get respect?

Syedna Saifuddin’s office said that he has been given this honor for his contribution in the fields of health, education and environment. Apart from this, he has also been awarded for promoting peace in the world.

During the program, the President praised Syedna and said that he has made many different efforts in Pakistan. This has given impetus to the socio-economic development of the country.

Syedna had reached Pakistan in November itself

Syedna had reached Pakistan on November 20 on the invitation of the Pakistani government and the Dawoodi Bohra community.

During this visit, he also inaugurated the Syedna Saifuddin School of Law at Karachi University. The Bohra community also has a small population in Pakistan and is especially present in Karachi. There is also an institute of Bohra community in Karachi.
