There are many flaws in the caste survey of Bihar, they will have to be removed, Amit Shah said to Nitish and Tejashwi Yadav…

Union Minister Amit Shah has said regarding the caste survey of Bihar that there are some problems in it, which have to be resolved.

Not only this, he said that the Central Government has never had any objection to the caste survey and it has never created any hindrance regarding it.

He said that when we were in power in Bihar, we had supported the caste survey.

Amit Shah said these things during the Zonal Council meeting in Patna on Sunday. In a statement issued by the Home Ministry, it was said that we hope that the Bihar government will try to remove the shortcomings in the caste survey.

Amit Shah said, ‘The Central Government never had the intention of obstructing the caste survey. When BJP was included in the government of Bihar, it had supported it.

Not only this, the Governor also immediately approved the bill. CM Nitish Kumar reminded that in Bihar we passed the resolution twice and appealed to the Central Government to conduct a caste survey.

If this did not happen then we got it done with the resources of Bihar government itself. He said that there is a need to conduct caste survey in the entire country.

Apart from Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, senior ministers of Odisha, Bengal and Jharkhand also participated in the Eastern Zone meeting. Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav was also present in the meeting. It is noteworthy that the caste survey was also supported by BJP in Bihar.

Apart from this, the proposal to give caste reservation in proportion to the population was also passed by voice vote in the Assembly. BJP had also come forward and supported it. However, now a war of credit seems to be breaking out regarding the caste survey. Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav have been presenting this as a victory for their government.

Demand for caste survey in many states including UP-Madhya Pradesh

Not only this, after Bihar, demand for conducting caste survey is also being raised in many states including UP, Madhya Pradesh. Congress had even made promises regarding this in election states.

It is believed that in the 2024 elections, many opposition parties including Congress may raise the issue demanding caste survey. Congress also feels that through this it will be able to make some inroads into the OBC category. At present, Congress seems to be losing its hold in every section. In such a situation, under the pretext of this, she will try to reach out to a large section of the society.
