Famous British broadcaster BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) news anchor Maryam Moshiri has apologized for the mistake of pointing the finger in the live show.
His video was being discussed in full swing on social media for the last few days.
Last Wednesday he was accidentally broadcast live during a live afternoon bulletin with his eyebrows raised and three fingers raised in front of his face.
As soon as the anchor realized his mistake, he immediately lowered his hand and started reading the news in a normal posture.
Now on Friday (December 15), he wrote on social media platform
He tweeted, “So someone released the full video! The BBC haven’t released it and certainly I haven’t either but in a way I guess I’m glad it turns out that I was having a bit of fun with a crew member during the countdown. But again, very sorry that this got aired. It was a private laugh.”
“As soon as the countdown started, I crossed my fingers,” Moshiri wrote. It was a joke with the crew members but it got broadcast by mistake.”
He wrote, “This was a private joke with the team and I’m sorry it went viral! This was not my intention and I am sorry if I offended or upset anyone. I wasn’t really ‘throwing anything’ at the audience or even anyone. It was a silly joke meant for some of my colleagues.”
