Ayodhya is all set for the grand inauguration of the newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi temple on January 22.
Indian Railways is planning to run more than 1,000 special trains from different parts of the country for devotees.
The operation of these trains will begin from January 19 and will continue for the next 100 days after the grand inauguration so that devotees can travel to the holy city.
These special trains will run to Ayodhya from major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Nagpur, Lucknow and Jammu for pilgrims.
According to sources, “Considering the demand, trains will be run on a large scale. Keeping in mind the large number of passengers coming, Ayodhya station has also been given a new look.
Apart from the special trains, the catering and ticketing department of the Railways is also making arrangements to provide services to the pilgrims round the clock during these 10-15 days of the inauguration.
The authorities also plan to set up several food stalls to meet the demand of devotees after the inauguration of the Ram temple.
Ayodhya railway station can now handle the daily movement of around 50,000 persons. It will be completely ready by January 15.
Let us tell you that the temple will be open to the public from January 23, a day after the consecration of the idol of Lord Shri Ram.
Inauguration of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple
The work on the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The temple will be inaugurated on January 22, 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ceremony of installing the statue of Ram Lalla in the temple premises.
According to reports, the Ram Mandir Trust is responsible for the arrangements surrounding the inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram temple. Devotees entering the temple premises will get the opportunity to have darshan of Lord Ramlala from a distance of 320 feet.
Special arrangements have been made to provide prasad to all Ram devotees on the inauguration day. Devotees will be arranged in four lines for darshan, one and a half to two and a half lakh people are expected to have darshan of Lord Ram in a day.
