Now only a few months are left for the Lok Sabha elections. All the parties have started preparing for it.
The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started preparations with full enthusiasm for the inauguration of Ram temple in Ayodhya on 22 January.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has also called for organizing special puja and aarti on this day in all the temples of the country.
In response to BJP’s Hindutva politics, Nitish Kumar and Naveen Patnaik have also taken refuge in God.
In the last several Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has given place to the construction of Ram Temple in its manifesto.
The years-long fight with Babri Masjid ended with the Supreme Court’s decision. The government also started its construction work without any delay.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid its foundation stone. Ram Temple fits well into BJP’s Hindutva politics. This is the reason why Yogi Adityanath’s government has also opened the treasury for this.
Ayodhya is being renovated afresh. BJP has also made preparations to capitalize on the Ram Mandir issue in the Lok Sabha elections.
It is said about Nitish Kumar that he is an expert in sensing the direction of the political wind. Ever since BJP came to power at the Centre, it has not shied away from soft Hindutva politics.
He has visited more temples than before. He also does not miss visiting tombs and mosques.
Recently, he surprised BJP by laying the foundation stone of development works worth crores of rupees in the Janaki temple complex in Sita’s birthplace Punaudham in Sitamarhi. Nitish Kumar might have realized that with the inauguration of Ram Temple, BJP in Bihar would try to corner him over Punouradham.
Keeping in mind the extreme Hindutva politics of BJP, they have already seized this issue.
Let us tell you that Punauradham is an important part of the Ramayana circuit. Bihar government is going to develop Sitakund located in the temple premises. Besides, the entire campus will be beautified. Facilities will also be expanded for the devotees coming here.
Sita Vatika and Luv-Kush Vatika will also be constructed in the temple itself. Bihar government is going to spend about Rs 72 crore here. Walls decorated with beautiful architecture will be built in the temple premises.
Pavilion and road will also be constructed. State-of-the-art parking will also be arranged for the vehicles of local and outside devotees coming to the temple.
Jagannath Corridor will be inaugurated in Odisha on January 17, just before the inauguration of Ram Temple. The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in Odisha has completed preparations for the much-awaited Srimandir Parikrama project.
Rs 943 crore has been spent for the beautification of the Jagannath Temple corridor in Puri. The Parikrama project is nearing completion.
For this, invitations have been sent to more than 1000 temples including Char Dham. Invitations have also been sent to major Hindu temples around the world and the King of Nepal.
This is very important before the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections to be held in April next year.
