A bus with an Indian number plate carrying 40 passengers fell into a river in Nepal, 11 died

Kathmandu. At least 11 people were killed when an Indian passenger bus fell into the Marsyangdi river in Nepal on Friday. According to reports, the accident took place at Aina Pahada in Tanahun district. A team of 45 personnel led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Madhab Paudel of Armed Police Force Nepal Disaster Management Training School has reached the accident site. Rescue operations have been launched. According to initial reports, about 10 to 11 bodies have been recovered.

The bus was carrying passengers from Gorakhpur

According to the information, an Indian bus carrying passengers from Gorakhpur to Nepal met with an accident on Friday. The bus was going from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Tanahun SP Birendra Shahi has given information about the accident. Inspector Abu Khaireni of the local police office is present at the spot. The army and armed forces have been informed. The number of the bus is said to be UP FT 7623. Further information is awaited.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Relief Commissioner said that in connection with the incident in Nepal, we are establishing contact to find out if there was any person from Uttar Pradesh in the bus. Detailed information about the incident is awaited.

Two buses were washed away in the river in July

Earlier in July this year, 65 people travelling in two buses were swept away in the swollen Trishuli river in Nepal. Then the Kathmandu-bound Angel bus and the Ganpati Deluxe bus met with an accident. The buses were going from Kathmandu to Gaur in Rautahat. The incident took place amid heavy rains in the area.
