Stampede broke out at the ceremony
The loud noise caused people to rush to open their windows to avoid breaking the glass or stand on their balconies to catch a glimpse of the planes flying overhead. There has been no comment from the Israeli military on the incident.

The Lebanese city of Beirut is a stronghold of Hezbollah. The weekly anniversary of the killing of one of its senior military commanders by Israel was being observed here.
On this occasion, the townspeople had gathered to watch the speech of the Hezbollah leader. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said at the beginning of his speech that the purpose of the sound explosion was to frighten and provoke people.
