New Delhi. The Health Ministry has taken a big decision on the appeal of the doctors who are on strike against the murder and rape of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical Hospital in Kolkata.
The Health Ministry has announced the formation of a committee for the safety of doctors. The ministry has called upon the doctors to return to duty. The ministry has appealed to the protesting doctors to return to their duty in view of the increasing cases of dengue and malaria. However, no statement has come from the doctors yet.
Meanwhile, the CBI team probing the Kolkata rape-murder case reached RG Kar Hospital for investigation. During this, the team questioned the college principal and senior doctors. Apart from this, the CBI team also reached the barracks of the fourth battalion of Kolkata Police in Salt Lake and questioned the officers there.
Let us tell you that the team reached this barrack because the main accused Sanjay Roy had stayed in this barrack after committing the crime. At present, the CBI team is busy investigating inside.
