Patna. Bihar Police has arrested seven people after raiding a gun factory operating in a village. During the raid, Bhojpur Police has recovered one pistol, 35 tiger plates, 36 cork rods, 33 barrels, 20 butts, three drill machines, one lathe machine, one grinder and three mobile phones.
According to Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav, the factory was running in the village for a long time. He said that we received information about this illegal arms manufacturing factory, which was running in the house of Virendra Kumar Srivastava in Chanda village under Naya Bhojpur police station. After this, a special team was formed under the leadership of Dumraon SDPO Afaq Akhtar Ansari to investigate the matter. The team raided there. During this, seven people present there were arrested. Taking advantage of the darkness, some people managed to escape. The police is searching for them.

Virendra Kumar Srivastava, Pintu Shah, Azad, Monu, Abdul, Raju and Iqbal have been arrested. Police said that the kingpin running the gun factory is Virendra Srivastava.
The SP said that Virendra and Pintu both are natives of Bhojpur and Sitamarhi districts, while the other accused were residents of Munger and worked as laborers in the factory. The SP said that a case has been registered in Naya Bhojpur police station under sections of the Arms Act and BNS Act and the matter is being further investigated. Also, the police is investigating the links of the accused to whom the guns were being supplied.
