The deceased have been identified as Anand Sujit Henry, 42, his wife Alice Priyanka, 40, and their 4-year-old twin children Noah and Neathan.

When a family friend complained to the police and sought help, the police reached the spot and recovered the dead bodies from the house. The family friend had complained to the police that no one was picking up calls at Anand’s house, so help should be sought.

When police arrived to help, Indian-American couple Anand and Alice were found dead inside the bathroom. There were bullet marks on his body.

Their twin children were found dead in a bedroom. The police have not been able to reveal the reasons for their death. According to the police, it could be either suicide or murder, currently the matter is under investigation.

The police officer said that when the police team reached there, the house was found locked from inside. After this, the police searched all around the house and found no signs of forced entry into the house.

When a window of the house was found open, with its help the police could enter inside. When he went inside, he found a middle-aged man and a woman dead in the bathroom. Two children were also found dead in the house.

According to police, a 9 mm pistol and a loaded magazine were recovered from the bathroom. Records show that the couple had purchased the luxurious bungalow for Rs 17.43 crore in 2020.

After initial investigation, police have said that this could be a case of suicide or murder. Police are investigating from both the angles but the open window of the house is indicating some conspiracy. Therefore, the police have not ruled out the possibility of an external attack.

This family, originally from Kerala, was living in America for the last nine years.

Anand was a software engineer by profession. His wife, Alice, was a senior analyst. The family shifted to San Mateo County from New Jersey just two years ago.

According to neighbors, the couple was friendly, hard-working and dedicated to raising their children, and were well-liked by neighbors and colleagues.

However, according to court documents, the couple had filed for divorce in 2016 but did not implement it until later.
