During the time of the US backed government in Afghanistan, when the Taliban was marginalized, the Taliban also carried out similar terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

Taliban rule returned after NATO forces returned home
In 2021, the American and NATO forces, who had been camped in Afghanistan for two decades, returned home. As soon as these forces left Afghanistan, the Taliban again captured power in Afghanistan within a few days and the then President Ghani had to flee the country by helicopter.
The Afghan people had seen the previous rule of the Taliban, so when people started fleeing Kabul as soon as America left, the Taliban promised them that it would show a liberal attitude in its rule this time.
But the Taliban gradually reimposed the rigid structure of Islamic law and Sharia as soon as they took power.
The Taliban government of Afghanistan has not been recognized by anyone except a few countries.
