Since that incident, this young man has been attacking people coming to the market and has bitten about 6 to 7 people so far.
After being bitten by a dog, the young man started eating raw meat
Some traders of the market took the youth to the hospital, but he did not recover. Traders say that he has started eating raw meat and drinking alcohol. According to vegetable seller Rajkumar, this youth is also indulging in drunkenness, pushing and biting people. We called the emergency service on number 108. After some time the police came, but seeing them Sonu fled from the spot.
The young man did not recover even after getting treatment
Vegetable trader Mohammad Rashid said that Sonu works as a cleaner in the local vegetable market. The young man was bitten by a dog, since then he has started eating raw meat of any animal. All of us traders got him treated, he was also given two injections, but Sonu did not get any treatment. He tried to bite me too.
Fear of such action due to alcohol
According to Dr. Abhishek Thakur, RMO of Sagar District Hospital, rabies does not spread from one person to another. He said that if Sonu had been bitten 10 to 12 days ago, rabies could have appeared in a more severe form. It is possible that Sonu’s behavior may have been affected by alcohol consumption. At present, all people including Mandi are requested to maintain a safe distance from Sonu to avoid such incidents.
