Higher Education Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal has said that along with studies, sports and cultural activities are also very important for student life.
Where sports improves physical and mental health. Along with discipline, mutual understanding and team spirit develops.
Culture activities develop creativity and social skills and leadership abilities. He was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the seven-day state level sports and cultural festival ‘Aarohan – 2024’ at Shri Rawatpura Government University today.
Higher Education Minister Aggarwal said that sports and cultural activities like singing, dancing etc. have also become a means of livelihood in the present times. Not only this, it also gives us recognition at national and international level.
Sports teaches us that defeat is also necessary in life, defeat reveals our shortcomings. Before this, he inaugurated Aarohan 2024 by lighting the lamp and administered the oath to all the students “We will make me, we will make a new India”. On this occasion, he launched Aarohan-2024 by releasing colorful balloons in the sky.
The participants and teachers of Rawatpura Government University presented flash mob dance on the inaugural occasion.
In the seven-day long Aarohan 2024, about 4000 participants from across the country will take part in various sports competitions including archery, football, volleyball, basketball as well as singing and dancing competitions.
In the program, Chancellor of Shri Rawatpura Government University Harsh Gautam, Vice Chancellor Prof. S.K. Singh and Registrar Dr. Saurabh Kumar Sharma along with a large number of participants, their family members, teachers and employees were present.
