New Delhi . The Indian Ministry of External Affairs announced that Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is visiting India on an official visit on September 9-10 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be his first visit to India as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Al Nahyan will be accompanied by several UAE government ministers and a business delegation. He is scheduled to meet PM Modi on Monday and discuss wide areas of bilateral cooperation. After which he will meet President Draupadi Murmu and later visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
On the second day of his visit, he will visit Mumbai to attend a business forum, in which business leaders from both countries are participating. The Ministry of External Affairs said, the Prince’s visit will further strengthen the strong India-UAE bilateral relations and open avenues for partnership in new and emerging areas. Al Nahyan will also be accompanied by several ministers of the UAE government and a business delegation. The UAE and India are among each other’s top trading partners, with bilateral trade estimated at around $85 billion in 2022-23. Prime Minister Modi visited Abu Dhabi on February 14, where he inaugurated Abu Dhabi’s first Hindu stone temple amid devotional chants and in the presence of spiritual leaders of the Swaminarayan sect.
