Nashik. Two firefighters were killed when a shell from an Indian field gun exploded during firing practice at an artillery center in Maharashtra’s Nashik district. The names of firefighters who lost their lives in the incident include Gohil Vishwaraj Singh (20) and Saifat Shit (21). The incident occurred when a team of Agniveers was firing from an Indian field gun when a shell exploded.
An army officer said that both of them had suffered serious injuries. He was taken to MH Hospital in Devlali. Where the doctors declared both of them dead. The officer said that based on the complaint of Havildar Ajit Kumar, a case of accidental death has been registered with the Devlali Camp police. Further investigation is being done in the matter. The Defense Ministry should give martyr status to these two soldiers and give its benefits to their families.
Agniveer lost his life during mock drill
On October 4, 24-year-old Agniveer died when a fire fighting cylinder exploded while doing a mock drill to extinguish a fire in Bharatpur. The incident took place in Goalpura Army area of ​​Sewar police station area. ASI Vijay Kumar of Sewar police station had told that during the mock drill during the training camp in Bharatpur, during the practice of extinguishing the fire, jawan Saurabh had thrown the fire fighting cylinder upside down on the ground. With this there was a loud explosion and the cylinder burst. According to ASI, pieces of the cylinder had stuck in the jawan’s chest. Army officers and fellow soldiers took him to Jindal Hospital in Bharatpur in a critical condition. Saurabh died during treatment at around 8 pm.
Investigation into the case started

The injured firefighters were taken to MH Hospital in Devlali but they were declared dead here.
