While traveling in a plane, a man attacked his fellow passenger.
According to the information, the person sitting next to me was sleeping on his seat. Then the passenger next to him attacked him.
The incident took place in Alexandria, America. According to an FBI agent, a man named Everett Chad Nelson punched the fellow passenger several times in the face.
Blood started flowing from his nose and mouth. After this, other passengers caught the accused and removed him.
This incident occurred on a United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Virginia on Monday.
“We are grateful for the vigilance shown by crew and passengers following the attack on a passenger,” United said in a statement. After the flight landed, the accused was handed over to the police. The victim was sent to the hospital.
United said there were 82 passengers and six crew members on board. According to the FBI, Nelson was sitting in the back seat.
He used the toilet and then as soon as he came out, he started hitting his fellow passenger. The passenger suffered injuries near his eyes and nose.
Neslan also had blood on his sleeve. The agent said that the accused did not even know the victim before. Efforts are being made to find out why he attacked.
The court has said that Nelson should be kept in custody until the hearing of the case continues. The case will be heard on December 11.
