A surprising incident came to light from East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. A burnt body of a person was found in the field here.
The body was sent for postmortem but meanwhile a call from the same person came to the family members. Later, when the full details of the incident came to light, everyone was shocked.
Actually, a dead body was found in Veerampalem village of Rangampet mandal. The body was so burnt that it was difficult to identify it. Slipper was found near the dead body. These slippers belonged to the owner of the farm.
Sub Inspector of Rangampet Police Station said that on the morning of January 26, someone called and informed that a burnt body was found near the transformer in the fields of Ketamalla Pusaiya.
Pusaiya’s slippers were lying nearby. In such a situation, people thought that this body was of Pusaiya only. He used to trade in grains. In such a situation, it was suspected that the businessman was killed due to some enmity.
Police sent the body for postmortem. Then Pusaiya’s family came to know about him. Pusaiya told that he is alive.
When he told his address, his relatives reached there along with the police. Pusaiah was found there in an injured condition. He told that some people had beaten him badly.
He told that some unknown people had come to his farm and tried to burn a dead body by pouring petrol on it.
When Pusaiya protested, they caught him and made him sit in the auto. Pusaiya’s slippers were left there during the fight.
After this the accused took him to an unknown place, beat him and threw him. Pusaiya said, when he regained consciousness he found that he was lying in a field.
After this, he took the phone of a person passing by and called his family. Police say that it is not yet known who the accused were and whose body was burnt.
