After Garib Rath, a snake has been found in another train.
On October 21, a live snake was found in the AC coach of Vasco-da-Gama Express going from Jharkhand to Goa. Many passengers saw the snake crawling near the curtain of the lower berth in the AC 2-tier coach and filmed it.
Ankit Kumar Sinha has posted this video on social media tagging Railways. His parents were traveling in A-2 coach.
He urged Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav to intervene immediately.
In the video shared on social media, the snake can be seen roaming around the screen. Seeing this, panic and anxiety spread among the passengers.
He wrote, “A snake was found on the berth of Train-17322 (Jasidih to Vasco da Gama) on 21st October. This complaint is from my parents, who are traveling in AC 2 tier (A2 31, 33).
Please take immediate action. I have attached the videos for reference.” In the second tweet, he tagged Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and said, “In view of the seriousness of the situation, your immediate attention is required.”
Let us tell you that with the help of IRCTC employees deployed in the train, the snake was caught and thrown out of the train. In a video, an IRCTC employee and a passenger can be seen working together to catch the snake using a sheet. However, information about what they did with the snake is not available.
The Railway Service team responded to the tweet and escalated the matter to the concerned authorities for immediate resolution. Divisional Railway Manager of Ranchi also replied. He wrote, “Your complaint has been accepted and informed to the appropriate authority.”
