In Bihar, Nitish Kumar has left INDIA Alliance and joined NDA.
After that, there are strong speculations about Jayant Chaudhary, who till now was seen with Akhilesh Yadav’s SP in UP, that he will change sides.
There is talk that Jayant Chaudhary has agreed to the deal of ticket on 5 Lok Sabha seats and a ministerial post at the Center and is rejecting SP’s offer of 7 seats.
Not only this, meanwhile BJP is also trying to bring its old allies TDP and Akali Dal. If this happens, then the NDA clan will become stronger from the southern states of Andhra Pradesh to Punjab.
In Punjab, the strength of BJP increases with the alliance of Akali Dal in urban areas like Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhan, Pathankot.
Akali Dal votes in rural areas and BJP has been strong in urban areas.
In such a situation, both the parties have complemented each other in Punjab. Both had separated during the farmers’ movement, but now in the changed circumstances, Akali Dal also feels the need of BJP.
It is reported that the seats offered by BJP to RLD include Bijnor and Baghpat Lok Sabha. In the 2019 general elections, BJP had defeated Jayant Chaudhary from Baghpat and its candidate in Bijnor had lost to BSP.
Naidu met Shah, discussed alliance!
RLD has also accepted the proposal of Yogi Adityanath government for MLAs to visit Ayodhya on February 11.
Accepting this invitation amid alliance discussions is also giving a big signal. Whereas SP says that we will go to Ayodhya, but will go separately.
Meanwhile, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu has also met Amit Shah in Delhi. It is believed that only alliance was discussed in this meeting.
Three YSR Congress MPs have also resigned from the party and may now join TDP.
Local unit in Punjab wants Akali to stay together
Now if we talk about Punjab, the local unit of BJP here also wants an alliance with Akali Dal. Akali Dal had also recently supported the formula of one country, one election.
Since then there were speculations about both of them coming together. Akali Dal is one of the oldest allies of BJP.
