On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, the construction work of water tank (high level reservoir) has started rapidly in village Devarhat of Lormi development block of Mungeli district.

Recently, the villagers had complained to Deputy Chief Minister and Public Health Engineering Minister Sao, who had reached Deorhat to attend a program, about the delay in the construction of the water tank.

Taking this seriously, Deputy Chief Minister Sao had immediately inspected the work site and instructed the officials of the Public Health Engineering Department to complete the construction of the water tank with full quality within the time limit. Following his instructions, the department immediately started the work to complete the construction of the water tank.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, after inspecting the work site, had told the concerned officials that Jal Jeevan Mission is one of the ambitious schemes of the government.

Any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in this. The Executive Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department said that following the instructions of the Deputy Chief Minister, the construction work of the high level reservoir has been started at a fast pace. Its work will be completed soon.

Executive Engineer said that to provide pure and safe drinking water to every house in Deorhat, a high level reservoir is being built at a cost of about Rs 1 crore 45 lakh.

With its construction, 437 families of the village will get the benefit of clean drinking water. On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Sao, its construction is being completed rapidly.
