Amidst the fierce war with Hamas terrorists, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has banned the broadcast of Qatar’s news channel Al Jazeera in his country.

In a statement from Netanyahu, it was said that Al Jazeera has reported against Israel. Netanyahu also addressed the channel by calling it a terrorist channel.

Parliament was called at night to shut down the channel. Where after passing the law, the ‘terrorist channel’ was immediately banned.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has made many serious allegations against Al Jazeera, including harming Israeli security, supporting Hamas in its terrorist attacks on October 7 and inciting violence in Israel.

“The terrorist channel Al Jazeera will no longer be broadcast in Israel,” Netanyahu posted on X. It is my resolve to take immediate action under the new law to stop the activities of the channel.

Neither the station’s main office in Israel nor the Qatari government in Doha had immediate comment.

On the other hand, Al Jazeera has alleged that Israel has been targeting its offices and personnel in the past also. Let us tell you that Israeli officials have long complained about Al Jazeera’s coverage.

Israel’s Communications Minister alleges that along with Hamas terrorists, Al Jazeera journalists have also attacked Israeli soldiers with weapons.

The Israeli government has been making allegations against Al Jazeera for a long time that under the guise of journalism, it is taking part in the war against Israel along with Hamas terrorists. America has also expressed concern about the allegations against Al Jazeera.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre said that we believe in the freedom of the press, but if the report on Al Jazeera is true, then it is a very serious matter.

On the other hand, the fight for supremacy continues between the Israeli army and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

More than 32,000 Palestinians have been killed during Israel’s six-month military offensive in Gaza, including 63 in the past 24 hours, according to Palestinian health officials.

According to Israeli data, in the October 7 attack, Hamas killed 1,200 people and took 253 hostage.
