The Prime Minister has set an ambitious target of developing the country by the 100th year of independence, inspired by which Chhattisgarh has also set an ambitious target of developing the state by the year 2047.
To achieve this goal, a vision document has been prepared by the State NITI Aayog. This vision is a guiding document that focuses on the key priorities of the state and includes strategies and plans for the short-term (by 2030), medium-term (by 2035), long-term (by 2047) related to the well-being of citizens, economic development, good governance and investment. The goals to be achieved under the 13 themes determined in the vision document have been classified for short term, medium term and long term. Also, strategies and indicators have been included for effective and timely implementation and evaluation and monitoring of the themes.
To achieve the goals set under 13 themes, 10 missions will be launched immediately, in which more than 50 policy, institutional and infrastructure related initiatives have been included.
