New York. Millions of people in America are facing severe cold. According to reports, a surge of Arctic air will further drop temperatures across much of the Central and Eastern US over the weekend. According to the report, the center of the Arctic air will be centered over the country’s Northern Plains and upper Midwest early next week, where high temperatures will range between 10 and 20. The US National Weather Service asked people to be prepared to face dangerously cold winds. However, heavy snowfall has already started in some of these places.
According to the report, cold air will move south and east during the long holiday weekend, causing temperatures to drop from Central Texas to Northern Florida and New York. Also the temperature in these areas will reach close to zero. Temperatures could drop 10 to 20 degrees in late November and early December for areas exposed to Arctic air, according to the weather agency. Freeze warnings and advisories have been issued from northern Wisconsin to Michigan and western New York, where up to 4 feet of snow could fall by the end of the weekend. However, snow may fall at a rate of up to 5 inches per hour later.
