These days, there is a ruckus in the country over the controversy of adding animal fat in the prasad laddu of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous government of using substandard ingredients including animal fat in Tirupati laddus, after which a lot of controversy arose.
Amul company’s name also started coming up in this controversy that it had supplied ghee to Tirupati temple. But now Amul company’s statement has come out on this controversy. Amul issued a statement on Friday saying that the company has never supplied ghee to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).
