New Delhi . The Central Government has given a big gift to the railway employees. The Center has announced to give 78 days bonus to the employees during the upcoming festivals. According to the information, this decision of the government will benefit about 12 lakh employees. The bonus will be paid before the holidays of Dussehra and Diwali.
This amount will be paid to various categories of railway employees like Track Maintainer, Loco Pilot, Train Manager (Guard), Station Master, Supervisor, Technician, Technician Helper, Pointsman, Ministerial Staff and other Group XC staff. Payment of PLB acts as an incentive to motivate railway employees to work towards improving the performance of the Railways.
PLB is paid to eligible Railway employees every year before the Durga Puja/Dussehra holidays. This year also, about 11.72 lakh non-gazetted railway employees are being paid PLB amount equal to 78 days’ salary. The maximum amount payable per eligible Railway employee is Rs 17,951/- for 78 days.
The above amount will be paid to various categories of Railway employees like Track Maintainer, Loco Pilot, Train Manager (Guard), Station Master, Supervisor, Technician, Technician Helper, Pointsman, Ministerial Staff and other Group C staff.
