Another Indian student died in Boston, America.
In the preliminary investigation, the possibility of any conspiracy in this case has been ruled out.
Officials said on Monday. “Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate demise of Abhijit Paruchuru, an Indian student in Boston,” the Consulate General of India in New York wrote on ‘X’.
Paruchuru’s parents live in Connecticut and are in direct contact with the investigating authorities. The Consulate said that preliminary investigation has ruled out any foul play.
The Consulate said it “provided assistance in sending Paruchuru’s body to India and preparing necessary documents” and is in touch with local authorities and the Indian-American community on the matter.
According to sources, the last rites of 20-year-old Paruchuru took place in his hometown Tenali in Andhra Pradesh. US-based non-profit organization ‘Team Aid’ helped in bringing the body to India.
At least nine Indians and students of Indian origin have died in America since the beginning of this year.
The alarming increase in the number of incidents of attacks on Indian-American students has created concern in the community.
