According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there was dense fog in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, limiting visibility to 50 metres. Cold increased due to fog in Amritsar, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) and Himachal Pradesh. Fog was also seen in some parts of Delhi NCR, which further increased the effect of cold.
IMD said that there will be fog in the morning and evening in Delhi NCR and this situation may persist till November 12. A slight drop in temperature has been observed. The maximum temperature in Delhi will be between 30-32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be between 15-20 degrees Celsius. The sky will be clear during the day, but due to fog in the morning and evening the effect of cold will be felt. There was maximum fog at Safdarjung Airport.
