Asia’s ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ is no longer a bachelor.

He married a common woman in a grand ceremony that lasted for 10 days. We are talking about Prince Abdul Matin of Brunei.

Before marriage, Mateen was considered Asia’s ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’. He married his fiancée inside the gold-domed Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque in the country’s capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.

The grand ceremony following the prince’s grand wedding took place on Thursday. At the ceremony, Prince Mateen and 29-year-old “common woman” Anisha Rosanna Isa-Kalebik were officially declared husband and wife.

The grand royal wedding ceremony will end on January 16. Anisha belongs to a non-royal family.

Talking about 32 year old Rajkumar Abdul Matin, he is known to have many skills. He is known for his skills in polo.

Apart from this, he is also a trained helicopter pilot. He also has a strong fan-following on social media. Girls often comment on Prince’s pictures like “hot”, “sexy”. He has more than 25 lakh followers on Instagram.

The total wealth of the Royal Family of Brunei is approximately $28 billion. In terms of this wealth, Prince Mateen’s father, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, is one of the richest royals in the world.

Although sixth in line, Prince Mateen is unlikely to succeed to the throne. But, she has gained a lot of popularity due to her matinee idol look. Furthermore, her huge following on social media has made her one of the high-profile members of the royal family.

Matin’s wife is the granddaughter of Isa-Kalebik, special advisor to the Sultan and founding chairman of Royal Brunei Airlines. Isa-Kalebic reportedly runs a fashion brand called Silk Collective.

Prince Mateen and Isa-Kalebik announced their engagement in October last year.

They were dating each other for the last several years. The royal wedding celebrations reached its peak on Sunday with a spectacular ceremony and a glittering procession at the 1,788-room palace.

The guest list is expected to include international royals and political leaders.
