India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding heavy rains in many states.
Badra is going to rain heavily in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Mahe and Karaikal. Yellow alert has been issued regarding this.
IMD said, ‘There is a possibility of a drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius in the minimum and maximum temperatures in eastern and north-western India from November 3 to November 7.
From November 3 to November 4, there will be light to moderate rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Karaikal and Mahe. There is also a possibility of lightning along with thunder.
According to the Meteorological Department bulletin, there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala on Sunday.
Apart from this, similar weather will also be seen in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on November 5. Talking about the national capital Delhi, the sky is expected to be clear and foggy on Sunday.
The temperature can range between 17 °C and 34 °C. A layer of smog was seen in New Delhi this morning. According to CPCB, Delhi’s AQI is in very poor category.
Weather expected to remain hot in November also
Let us tell you that the month of October this year has been the hottest in India since 1901. The average temperature was recorded 1.23 degrees Celsius above normal.
The office has predicted warm weather in November as well, giving no indication about the upcoming winter.
IMD Director General Mrityunjay Mohapatra attributed the hot weather to easterly winds due to the absence of western disturbances and active low pressure systems in the Bay of Bengal.
The average temperature in October was 26.92 °C, the warmest since 1901, while the normal temperature is 25.69 °C.
