Kolkata. The CBI is investigating the rape and murder case at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. Meanwhile, the autopsy report has revealed many things. The report says that the doctor has severe injury marks on many parts of his body, including his private parts. Nothing has been said officially about these injuries. Doctors are protesting all over the country over the incident.
According to the report, many evidences of sexual violence have been found in the post-mortem report. There are more than 14 injury marks on the victim’s head, face, neck, hands and private parts. Along with this, the cause of death is believed to be strangulation and the possibility of sexual assault has also been raised in the report. According to the report, white, thick, sticky liquid has been found in the private parts of the victim and bleeding and blood clots in the lungs have also been reported. There are no signs of fracture. Samples of blood and other liquids found during the investigation have been sent for examination.
Police say that the body of the trainee doctor was found in the seminar room of the hospital on August 9. Police arrested Sanjay Roy in connection with this crime. Later he was handed over to CBI. After public outrage, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Sandeep Ghosh resigned from the post. According to media reports, the doctors who have been on strike for eight days have decided to provide OPD outside the Nirman Bhawan on Monday.
