New Delhi . Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali due to deteriorating health. CM Mann had fainted three times late on Wednesday night, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Now his condition is said to be stable. Aam Aadmi Party Punjab has not given any information regarding the illness of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Just said that the Chief Minister has been admitted to the hospital and he is being thoroughly examined. His health is fine and he will be discharged from the hospital after some necessary tests.
CM Mann had come for regular checkup and his condition is fine. There is nothing to panic or worry about. At the same time, no statement has come from the hospital regarding his health. Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has inquired about the well being of CM Bhagwant Mann over phone.
Akali Dal has targeted Chief Minister Mann and Aam Aadmi Party regarding CM Mann’s health. Also demanded that they should inform about their whereabouts and illnesses. Shiromani Akali Dal General Secretary Bikram Singh Majithia has released a video on Twitter demanding the Punjab Government and Fortis Hospital to issue a health bulletin. Majithia says that Chief Minister Mann is suffering from a serious liver disease, liver cirrhosis.
Majithia released a video of more than 9 minutes and said that Aam Aadmi Party is saying that the Chief Minister has gone for regular checkup, whereas this is completely false. He raised the question that regular check-up is done in a few hours, but why is he admitted since night. He said that considering the sensitivity of Punjab, it is important to tell about the health condition. Majithia has expressed the fear of lung related disease and liver transplant to the Chief Minister.
Earlier also on September 17, Bhagwant Mann’s health suddenly deteriorated, when he was present at Chandigarh Airport. After this he was admitted to a hospital in Chandigarh and then to Apollo Hospital in Delhi.
