The decision of Durg District Court has come after 5 years in the much talked about murder case of Siri Yadav (17) of Bhilai.
The court has sentenced the minor convict to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment.
The minor had murdered the chain by attacking her with an axe, out of unrequited love.
Seri, a resident of Maitrikunj, was a student of class 11th. The minor murderer also studied in the same school and repeatedly harassed the girl student. Frustrated, Shari complained to the school.
After this the minor was rusticated, but he did not stop harassing the series.

Sheri reached 12th and wanted to become a doctor. She was going to Civic Center to study on Scooty at 3 pm on 13 June 2019. The minor was already following. He stopped the chain near Chhatrapati Shivaji Nagar, Gandhipuram, about a kilometer away from home.
When he refused to talk, he was hit with an axe.
The minor from the series wanted to talk, but he refused. After this the minor murderer took out an ax and attacked the chain on the head. Due to this, the girl’s head was cut in half and separated. After this, the student was dragged and thrown into the bushes.
Death occurred during treatment in Raipur
A few hours after the incident, the family members came to know about the accident. By the time he arrived, the police had admitted the student to Sector-9 Hospital. However, seeing the serious condition, the doctors referred him to Raipur. He died during treatment there.
Two women became eyewitnesses
After the incident, a DPS teacher left on her scooter to drop her child to tuition. During that time the minor had parked the scooter in the middle of the road.
Due to this, he slowed down his car and saw that two people were lying on each other in the field. Thinking that both of them were drunk, she went ahead.
District Panchayat President Maya Belchandan’s house is also in Maitrikunj. He had seen the minor while returning home from the district panchayat. He was standing on a deserted road with a scarf tied over his face. When he became suspicious, he asked the driver to find out, but the minor made an excuse and moved ahead.
Becomes adult 5 days after murder
The serial killer was 17 years and 11 months old at the time of the crime. He became an adult after 5 days. The killer first watched the series in 8th grade. Since then he started loving me one-sidedly. The series did not focus on S. After the complaint, counseling of the minor was also done, but there was no improvement.
Sheri’s mother fought a long battle
Seeri’s mother Mamta Yadav did not give up to get justice for her daughter. Facing all the challenges, he approached the court. On Wednesday, the Durg Court found the murderer guilty under Sections 302, 201 and POCSO Act and sentenced him to 20 years imprisonment.
Sari Yadav’s mother said this on the court’s decision
Seerni Yadav’s mother Mamta said that the court has given us justice. He should have been punished earlier. He said that, with this decision, minors will fear from carrying out heinous incidents. He said that daughters are not wrong every time.
Mamta Yadav said that even though her daughter was right, many people of the society did not hesitate to taunt her. The father was busy with work, so the mother handled the entire case. She kept trying continuously to get justice for her daughter.
Tribute was paid by taking out a candle march
The entire city along with her mother had come together to get justice for Seeri Yadav. People, especially school students, took out a candle march to get him justice. Hundreds of people took out a march to pay tribute to the series and demanded strict punishment for the accused.
