Big action by ED against Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, ‘Saale Saheb’ interrogated

Bengaluru. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s brother-in-law B M Mallikarjuna Swamy was on Monday questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the alleged MUDA site allocation scam. Mallikarjuna Swamy, one of the accused in the MUDA (Mysore Urban Development Authority) case, appeared before ED officials at their office here following a notice, he said.

These allegations have been leveled against CM
CM Siddaramaiah is accused of illegalities in the allotment of 14 sites by MUDA to his wife Parvati BM. Siddaramaiah along with his wife Parvathi, brothers-in-law Mallikarjuna Swamy and Devaraju (from whom Swamy had bought a land and gifted it to Parvathi) and others in the FIR lodged by the Mysore Lokayukta police on September 27 on the directions of a special court. Has been named.

Many places have been searched
On September 30, the ED took cognizance of the Lokayukta FIR and filed an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) to register a case against the CM and others. Last month, the ED had conducted searches at the MUDA office in Mysuru and some other places including Bengaluru in connection with the case.

These are the accused
Siddaramaiah had appeared before the Lokayukta police in Mysore on November 6 in response to summons issued for questioning in the case. In the MUDA site allotment case it is alleged that Siddaramaiah’s wife was allotted 14 compensatory sites in an upmarket area of ​​Mysuru (Vijayanagar Layout 3rd and 4th Phase) whose property value was higher than the location of her land, Which was “taken over” by MUDA.
MUDA had allotted plots to Parvati under the 50:50 ratio scheme in exchange for her 3.16 acres of land, where she had developed a residential layout.
