Big success for DRDO, successful test of Land Attack Cruise Missile for the first time; Target from China to Pakistan, watch video…

Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has achieved a major success today.

It has successfully flight tested the Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) from a mobile articulated launcher for the first time.

This test has been done from Chandipur test center in Odisha. During the cruise missile test, all the sub-systems performed as expected and the missile managed to hit its target.

The LRLACM is designed for precision strike capability to engage ground based targets at long ranges.

The missile’s performance was monitored by multiple range sensors such as radar, Electro-Optical Tracking System (EOTS) and telemetry deployed at various locations by the ITR to ensure complete coverage of the flight path.

The test marks a milestone in the development of indigenous missile systems designed to enhance the defense readiness of the country.

It is an anti-ship ballistic cruise missile, which has a range of 1000 kilometers. That means this missile will be capable of hitting warships or aircraft carriers moving at a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers.

This means that this missile can be targeted from the Indian Ocean to the Arabian Sea and from China to Pakistan.

Sources said that the anti-ship ballistic missile can be launched from both warships and coastal locations.

Sources said that this missile system is being developed for the Indian Navy and it will give it the ability to shoot down enemy ships from long ranges. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s office has also congratulated the scientists on this success by tweeting.
