The excitement regarding the assembly elections has intensified.
BJP’s Central Election Committee will meet on August 29 to select candidates for Haryana, in which, along with the candidates for Haryana, the names of candidates for the remaining seats in Jammu and Kashmir will also be decided.

According to sources, BJP said that it can easily contest 60 seats and it considers itself strong on those seats, but it will contest all 90 seats.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP does not have the support of any major party but will contest the elections along with local parties like its own party and others.
Earlier today, BJP had released a list of 15 names and after that another name was announced.
The assembly elections to be held in Jammu and Kashmir after a decade will be completed in three phases. Candidates can file their nominations till August 27.
The counting of votes for the elections to be held on 18, 25 September and 1 October will take place on 1 October. The BJP has announced the names of its star campaigners for these elections. These names include PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, President JP Nadda and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. While the NC and Congress alliance is standing in front of the BJP, Mehbooba Mufti also cannot be ignored.
In the Lok Sabha elections held this year, the BJP had won both the seats in Jammu, while the NC had also won two seats.
The most upset was that of Omar Abdullah, who lost his seat to an independent candidate.
