Blast in illegal firecracker factory, 3 including child burnt alive

Sonipat. A massive fire broke out in an illegally running firecracker factory in Sonipat, Haryana. 3 people have died in this fire. So far 3 bodies have been recovered. Of these, one body is that of a village woman, the other is that of a child, and the third is that of another woman. The villagers came to know about the accident after a massive explosion in the factory. The blast caused cracks in the walls of adjacent houses. The house where firecrackers were being made also collapsed and the workers were buried under the debris. There were 10-12 laborers working here.
Seven people, including six women, were badly burnt in the accident. The burnt laborers have been referred to Rohtak PGI. The fire was caused by leakage in the gas cylinder. The house is in the middle of the village and the process of removing its debris is going on. Within some time the fire spread and the workers working in it did not get a chance to get out. There was chaos in the village after the fire. The villagers took out the people working there. The police have arrested the landlord Vedprakash. His daughter is also included among the injured. Police have found some suspicious things, which are being examined by the forensic team.
