The body of British tech tycoon Mike Lynch’s daughter, who was missing since her superyacht sank off the coast of Sicily, has been recovered. Mike Lynch’s 18-year-old daughter Hannah Lynch was missing since her superyacht sank. The Lynch family was aboard the superyacht when it capsized in a storm early Monday.
Civil defense officials said they believed the ship was caught in an overwater tornado, known as a waterspout, and sank.
Mike Lynch’s body was recovered on Thursday. He was recently acquitted of fraud charges and had come to this superyacht with his family to celebrate. His wife Angela Bakers is also among the 15 survivors.
