These days there is a tussle between Iran and Pakistan, which often calls for the unity of Islamic countries.
Iran had launched a missile attack on Pakistan on Tuesday night and now Pakistan has retaliated. It is being claimed from both sides that they have targeted the hideouts of terrorists operating across the border.
Pakistan said that its sovereignty has been attacked by Iran, hence it has the right to retaliate. Iran says that it has targeted a terrorist organization named Jaish al-Adl.
Well, the question amidst this war is that both are Muslim countries. While invoking Islam on issues like Palestine, he also talks about unity.
Then why is there so much conflict between Iran and Pakistan? Actually, the answer lies in an internal issue of both the countries.
Both keep blaming each other regarding this. A large population of Baloch live in the Balochistan province of Pakistan.
Apart from this, a section of Baloch also lives in Sistan of Iran. Those who understand Baloch history say that their culture also matches that of Iran, but they allege oppression in Shia-dominated Iran.
Not only this, some terrorist organizations like Jaish al-Adl even advocate creating a separate country by merging Balochistan and Sistan.
Overall, this issue is related to a separate Baloch identity and a separate country for it. Baloch have been alleging oppression in Iran and the same is true in Pakistan.
There are many organizations in Pakistan, such as the Baloch Liberation Army, which have been carrying out armed insurgency against its government and army. Jaish al-Fadl has been a rebel in Iran.
Now the issue is that Iran often says that Jaish al-Fadl has maintained a base in Pakistan and from there carries out attacks in Iran’s border Sistan province. Not only this, he also targets the army on the border.
Saudi and America also accused of supporting Jaish al-Fadl
Iran says that it has destroyed two bases of this organization through air strikes. Pakistan says that organizations like Baloch Liberation Army have support from Iran.
In this way, despite being Islamic countries, both are face to face on the issue of Baloch. Apart from this, the differences between Shia and Sunni also do not allow unity between the two, like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Iran has been saying that apart from Pakistan, Jaish al-Fadl also has support from Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Apart from Iran, which countries have imposed ban?
Jaish al-Fadl was established in 2012. Since then he has been targeting Iran’s army. It has been banned by Iran, Japan, New Zealand and America and declared a terrorist organization.
At present the head of this organization is Salahuddin Farooqui, whose brother Aamir Nouri was killed by the Taliban. It first attacked Iran in 2013 and has been doing so continuously since then.
Last year also in December, this organization had attacked the Iranian Army, in which 10 soldiers were killed.
