Britain’s King Charles III is suffering from cancer. Buckingham Palace issued a statement on Monday giving this information.
After King Charles was diagnosed with cancer, leaders of many countries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have wished for his speedy recovery.

Retweeting the tweet of ‘The Royal Family’, PM Modi wrote, “I along with the people of India wish the speedy recovery and good health of His Majesty King Charles III.”
Buckingham Palace, the official residence of Britain’s royal family in London, said in a statement that Charles was found to be suffering from cancer during a recent examination of the prostate gland.
She did not reveal what type of cancer Charles, 75, has, but said he has started treatment and is “feeling absolutely positive”.
After the news of Charles’s health came, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wished him a “speedy recovery”. “I have no doubt he will be back at full strength in no time and I know the whole country is praying for his recovery,” Sunak said on ‘X.’ Treatment has begun and he has been advised to postpone public events.
Former British prime ministers Liz Truss, Boris Johnson and Sir Tony Blair also posted similar messages. Johnson said, “Today the entire country will be with the king.” US President Joe Biden also said he is “concerned” about Charles and will speak to him on the phone. “I’m worried about them,” he told reporters.
