British Airways employee used to send Indians to Canada without visa, earned Rs 31 crore; Now come and hide in India…

A former supervisor of British Airways is hiding somewhere in India these days.

He is accused of a £3 million (Rs 31 crore) immigration scam. As soon as the investigation into the allegations began, he fled from Britain and came to India.

The accused supervisor was working as a BA check-in supervisor at London’s Heathrow Terminal 5. Meanwhile, he has been perpetrating a shocking scam for the last five years.

The man is accused of allowing Indians in London to board a British Airways (BA) flight to Canada without a valid visa.

For this he used to take bribe of 25,000 pounds (26 lakh rupees) per person. After reaching Canada, these Indians immediately sought asylum to live there.

The accused supervisor was arrested in Britain on January 6. However, after getting bail for the crime, the man fled to India along with his partner who worked at BA Ground Services.

BA has dismissed both staff members. UK police are working with Indian authorities to locate the two men so they can be extradited to the UK.

According to the report, the man is believed to have several houses in India. He may have bought these houses with the millions of pounds he earned from his rackets.

The Times of India quoted the source as saying, “The scam was to help Indians move to Canada and not the UK. Because he had the correct documents to stay in the UK.”

These Indians used to go to Britain (UK) via BA flights on visitor visa with the aim of entering Canada. From there, with the help of this supervisor, he used to go to Canada.

Apart from these, Indians who were living in Britain and had applied for asylum there were also included. But he was worried that his claim would be rejected and he would be deported back to India.

According to the report, a source said, “The supervisor used to ensure that Indians traveling to Canada came to his check-in desk.

Then from there he would send them directly to the boarding gate.” According to The Sun report, Canadian authorities noticed a pattern of Indians arriving on BA flights seeking asylum as soon as they arrived.

He immediately informed London that there was some scam in the Indians coming from there on BA flights seeking asylum. After this the investigation started and this scam was exposed.
