According to the information, today Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi held an important meeting with the Mayor of the city, Police Commissioner, Corporation officials and other top officials in Surat Police Commissioner’s office regarding the stone pelting on Ganesh Pandal in Syedpura area of ​​Surat. After the meeting, Harsh Sanghvi said that strict action is being taken against the accused and the police have arrested the accused by going door to door. Police have caught the anti-social elements by taking prompt action. He said that those who try to spread unrest cannot be tolerated. Harsh Sanghvi appealed to the social organizations on this occasion and said that they have to work day and night to make Gujarat the biggest growth engine of the country. I appeal to the leaders of the minority community to show such youths the right path. He said that care has also been taken that no innocent person should go to jail. On the other hand, the SMC administration, which came into action on the orders of the Home Minister, started bulldozer action on illegal constructions in Syedpura and nearby areas. As per the instructions of Surat Mayor, illegal constructions have been removed from the local area. Surat Mayor Dakshesh Mawani said that these illegal constructions were also discussed in the meeting and it was decided to take action against them.
