Relations between India and Canada have not been good for some time.
Concern and rebuke have been expressed several times from India regarding the increasing protests in Canada regarding Khalistan.
Once again India has slammed Canada. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has said that Canada has been giving place to terrorists and extremists in its politics for some years.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had last year linked the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar to India, which was rejected by India.
Now in this matter, Foreign Minister Jaishankar has said that Canada has ignored India’s request to share information.
Jaishankar attributed Canada’s recent behavior towards India to the involvement of extremists in the politics there.
Speaking to ‘NDTV’, Foreign Minister Jaishankar said, “For the last few years, Canada has been giving place to extremists and terrorists in its politics.
I believe this is the weakness of his politics. Due to this many problems have arisen there. “This should not have happened.”
He further said that their Prime Minister has publicly made allegations against us. Before that, the Prime Ministers of both the countries had met, where I was also present.
We said that if you have anything on your mind that is worrying you, please let us know. If you don’t want to tell everything, then at least tell a few things, so that we can get our investigation done.
S Jaishankar said that the Canadian PM did not share anything with us on this and then later made allegations publicly.
On the other hand, look at America. The US informed us that they have some information about the criminals, and they will give us some information to look at from their side, and we will match the information and then investigate the case.
The Foreign Minister told in the interview that separatism, extremism and violence have been given a place in Canadian politics, whereas there is no such problem in America.
