Canada now points finger at PM Modi in Nijjar murder case

Ottawa. Canada has pointed fingers at Indian Prime Minister Narendra over the attack on Khalistanis on its soil. Canadian security agencies believe that PM Modi had information about the murder of Khalistani Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia and other conspiracies related to it. This has been claimed by a senior national security official working on intelligence assessment of India’s foreign interference operations in Canada.
According to the report, the official said that Canadian and American intelligence have linked the Khalistani Nijjar killing act to India’s Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Narendra Modi’s trusted national security advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar were also in this loop. After this it is clear that Narendra Modi may also know about all this. The official has said that Canada has no strong evidence that Modi knew about the murder but it cannot be assumed that three senior political figures in India (Shah, Jaishankar and Doval) conspired with PM Modi. These targeted killings would not have been discussed.
Speaking at the G20 summit in Brazil, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau said he had spoken to Indian officials about his country’s foreign-interference activities. I specifically learned about the targeting of members of the pro-Khalistan movement. He said my priority has always been to stand up for the safety of Canadians. This is also the purpose of this conversation.
