A woman has lost her life in a dispute over the method of cutting onions.
This incident is being reported from Indiana state of America. Where an elderly man has been arrested for killing his girlfriend.
Allegedly, seeing that the old man was cutting onions incorrectly, her lover ran towards the old man with a knife in his hand.
The elderly man claimed that the woman lost her life because of the self-defence action taken during the fight. The old man has been arrested on charges of murder. According to the police, the old man created a false story after the murder.
The name of the deceased is Marcia Linksy. According to police sources, Charles himself contacted the police station. Charles claimed he was chopping onions in the kitchen on Saturday when the fight happened.
Marcia becomes angry after seeing Charles chopping onions incorrectly. She moved towards Charles with a knife in her hand. Charles said he grabbed the knife from Marcia’s hand to protect himself.
But Charles does not remember what happened after that. He claimed to the police that he stabbed Marcia in self-defense.
After receiving Charles’ call, the police immediately reached the spot. Police found Marcia’s body lying on her back in the kitchen. When the police searched the kitchen, they did not find any part of the cut onion. He claimed that there were only onion peels in the kitchen.
A blood stained knife was also placed next to the body in such a way that it looked as if it had been arranged later. Police found injuries on Marcia’s head and neck.
The police suspect that Charles is behind Marcia’s death. He is lying to the police to avoid punishment. Police are currently investigating the reasons for the woman’s death.
