Chhattisgarh’s mountaineer Rahul Gupta met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai during Jandarshan. Rahul told the Chief Minister that he will climb Australia’s highest peak Kosciusko on August 15.
This peak is 2228 meters high and is the seventh tallest peak in the world. It is a big challenge here because the temperature is very low.
The Chief Minister said that you have brought glory to Chhattisgarh by conquering important peaks across the world including Mount Everest.
We will give you every possible encouragement from the government. The Chief Minister directed the Director of Youth and Welfare Department, Mrs. Tanuja Salam in this regard.
